Better late than never...

OK so we haven't been as good at this as we hoped. We were adjusting to time zones and there has been so much to do!

Our flight was pretty good and we met some Greek friends in Montreal, who gave us some Greek lessons and tips on getting around Athens. They were awesome. We even got a dinner invite, but it was in a small town 3 hours away.

Cousin Danny's apartment was interesting, to say the least. After 12 hours sharing a twin bed, next to a naked girl, showering in cold water in the dirtiest tub known to man, we made an executive decision to get a hotel. We were going to this hotel later in the week so just came early. It's really clean, there are no naked roommated, and the staff is great. We have a huge balcony overlooking the downtown area.

The first day, Danny took us to the Acropolis and the original Olympic stadium from 1896. We got some great photos posing like Olympians. The Acropolis is definitely an amazing site and its history is surreal. We'll post photos later :)

We hung out with Danny and his study abroad friends for St. Patty's Day at the only Irish bar in Athens. We sung Tom Petty and the Counting Crows at the top of our lungs and danced to Irish music. It was a great time.

We just finished climbing the highest hill in Athens and have walked ourselves to death... we need gyros and coke light. We'll write more soon!!
